"We are a couple of older learners, in our late 60s, wanting to learn Dutch because our son lives in the Netherlands and we are keen to be able to communicate with Dutch people when we visit. We have enrolled in a few of Kim’s courses and really enjoy her teaching style. She is very innovative, constantly finding new ways to teach particular grammar points in an interesting way, with role plays and film footage, and always with an element of humour. Kim also provides grammar notes and exercises to help reinforce what she teaches in each lesson. Kim’s lessons are instructive and fun, which means we are always happy to follow them. We have learned a lot from her courses."

Supporting her through Patreon is inexpensive and means access to lots of material. Lots? Heaps! You simply don't need any othe courses if you follow this teacher. I don't know what level she gets us to (B2?), but I'm working on level B1 now."

Ik vind Kim’s Patreon-pagina gemakkelijk om te gebruiken. De e-mails geven een eenvoudig toegang naar de website en dat is belangrijk voor mij! Alles wat Kim voorstelt is altijd erg interessant. "Dutchies-to-be is as close to one-on-one teacher to learner as can be imagined looking at a computer screen. I have enjoyed the Dutch for Higher Intermediates Course immensely. The duration of the individual videos is optimal, and Kim does her best to make them entertaining, as well as practical. What is most satisfying is that I feel I am making good progress even though I do not live in the Netherlands."
